2015 NYDI Eastern Regional Tournament – March 7, 2015

The 2015 NYDI Eastern Regional Tournament was held on Saturday, March 7, 2015, at Mercy College in Dobbs Ferry, NY.

General Information

All teams should review the tournament schedule carefully!
Please note that some performance times have changed.

Questions or requests about the schedule should be directed to your Regional Director, [email protected], as soon as possible.

Team Managers should review our 7 Secrets to a Successful Tournament presentation, and should also study the Travel Guide for Teams. This has very important information about procedures on the day of the tournament.You should also review our Team Manager Tournament Tips, A Typical Tournament Day, and Picking up and Understanding Your Scores.

It’s also a good time to review your Challenge, the Rules of the Road, and any Published Clarifications.  You should start completing your Tournament Data Forms.  

Please note: There is major construction going on at Mercy College, as a new dormatory building is being erected. Be sure to allow extra time to get to your challenge site! Parking is limited, so please carpool if possible.

All Instant Challenges will take place in Main Hall.  We will announce the exact location of Instant Challenge check-in shortly.

Awards Ceremony

The Awards Ceremony will take place in the Rotunda in Mercy Hall, starting at approximately 4:45pm. Please note that there is some uncertainty in the starting time of the ceremony, as we cannot begin until all of the teams’ scores have been tabulated.

Volunteers

As part of a volunteer organization, each team has a responsibility to facilitate the Regional Tournament. Each team must send a volunteer parent (in addition to the manager and the appraiser) to facilitate the operation of the tournament.
