The 2015 NYDI Central Region Showcase took place on April 11, 2015, at Caroline Elementary School in Slaterville Springs, NY.
The 2015 NYDI Central Regional Showcase is an optional (but highly encouraged!) non-competitive opportunity for DI teams in the Central Region to practice their central challenge performances, practice an instant challenge, walk through DI tournament procedures, and receive feedback before the NY State Tournament.
The Showcase took place on April 11, 2015, at Caroline Elementary School in Slaterville Springs, NY.
Team Managers should review our 7 Secrets to a Successful Tournament presentation, and should also study the Travel Guide for Teams. This has very important information about procedures on the day of the tournament. You should also review our Team Manager Tournament Tips, A Typical Tournament Day, and Picking up and Understanding Your Scores.
Just a reminder for Team Managers to review the Challenge, Rules of the Road, and any Published Clarifications. You should start completing your Tournament Data Forms, paying attention to the correct number of copies.
Questions or requests about the schedule should be directed to your Regional Directors — Abby Goldman (NYDI Registration System) or Julia Kumpf (firstname.lastname@example.org) as soon as possible. Other Registration changes such as team name and contact info updates should be completed in the NYDI Registration System.
This is a new event for everyone this year, so please plan on plenty of time to find your way around!
The Awards Ceremony will take place as soon after the last team’s performance as possible. Teams will receive certificates of participation, Central Region T-shirts, and further instructions about the Affiliate Tournament in Binghamton on April 18th, 2015
