If a team would like to request a team-specific clarification, these must be submitted directly at the DI Inc. resources area. All Team Managers and Coordinators should have already received login information for this site. If you are having difficulty accessing it, please contact our webmaster. The deadline for Team Clarifications is Monday February 16, 2015 at 3:00 AM Eastern Time.

Our tournaments are just about a month away, so now is the time to finalize your Registration and Tournament Enrollment! Just a reminder that NYDI will have a great booth at next weekend’s World Maker Faire, being held at the New York Hall of Science, in Queens, NY! We are hard at work designing the next iteration of the NYDI Web Site and marketing materials, and find ourselves in need of some creative graphic design services! We need some great graphics for our new landing page, a set of icons, and various diagrams for other pages. The work would be credited publicly on the web page. 700 compete in Destination Imagination By FRANZISKA CASTILLO THE JOURNAL NEWS (Original publication: March 2, 2003) Just because there was no sweating involved in yesterday’s Destination Imagination tournament didn’t mean it wasn’t as strenuous as any athletic competition. No one had to pole vault anything, but coming up with a skit about a pig lost in a windstorm, in less than 30 minutes, wasn’t exactly a walk in the park, said competitor Jayme Epstein, 13. “It’s like agility for the brain,” Epstein said breathlessly as her Dobbs Ferry Middle School team waited to be judged in the “Once Improv A Time” division.

New Hampshire Destination Imagination has a summer adventure planned for creative kids. For your child or any child who loves DI or just loves to get involved in creative activities, the NH summer camp is where you need to send them! Camp Gottalikachallenge is for seriously creative campers entering grades 5 through 9.

Retirement: Cheryl Druding is retiring from her position as Affiliate Director, due to a family relocation to Portland, Oregon. Having started in DI in 1999, she has managed over 20 teams, appraised at every level (including Global Finals), been an NYDI Challenge Master, and served as an NYDI board member, before ultimately taking on the role of Affiliate Director. She has been a dynamic and effective leader, keeping the program strong and growing despite external forces which made that difficult. Her boundless energy, enthusiasm, dedication, and commitment will be missed. We wish Cheryl and her husband Mike great success in their future endeavours!
